FROM THE COLLECTION: WHAT HAPPENED ON AUGUST THIRD

“You don’t understand me” is the second part in a small collection for flute, cello and piano called “What Happened on August Third”. The interesting thing is that no one will ever know what really happened, as I’ve decided to keep it an eternal mystery. Only by playing and listening to the music might you come close to the truth.

I imagine this piece as a plea. “Please, listen.” And towards the end we come to the final solution – what no one wants to hear – that really, maybe this person won’t listen, ever, and we have to let go.

You are free to play this piece, in full or in part. The sheet music is free to download and share.
